The city centre was packed with onlookers as a striking parade of re-enactors marched through the High Street to commemorate those killed in the English Civil War.
Re-enactors gathered at the bottom of Broad Street in 17th century military dress, carrying muskets, flags and drums.
To the sound of drums, they began their steady march up Broad Street and onto the High Street, where they eventually paused outside the Guildhall.
