Every year the anniversary of the Battle, the Battle of Worcester Society holds an Parade & Drumhead service of Remembrance to commemorate those who fought and died for their beliefs in and around this city during the English Civil Wars.  The event is free, we invite you to join us.

11.00 am  – Planting of oak tree at Fort Royal to commemorate the battle.

6.00 pm – Re-enactors muster in the Cornmarket.

6.20 pm – Mayoral party and all others gather at the Guildhall.

6.30 pm – March to Fort Royal.

6.45 pm – Drumhead service begins (during the service there will be a musket volley to start a minutes silence and a second musket volley to end).

7.00 pm – Service Ends. Everyone is welcome to join us at the Cardinals Hat in Friar Street. We have entertainment from Charlie Williams, a local folk musician who will be performing, and including a new song about the battle.
