A Pivotal Moment
in British History
“When your wives and children shall ask you where you have been, and what news: say you have been at Worcester, where England’s sorrows began and where they are happily ended” – Hugh Peter/s – Preacher who supported the Parliamentarians.
A battle that changed
everything
The English Civil Wars killed a higher proportion of the British population than any other war in British history. One in ten of the male population died, more than three times the proportion who died in World War I, and five times the proportion than in World War II.
