Friday 23rd September, 2022 marks the 380th anniversary of the Battle of Powick. The Battle of Worcester Society is holding a commemoration on Saturday 24th September, 2022 and we would be delighted to see you: The timetable of events is as follows:
Meet at Maple Leaf Pub – 12:45
Reenactors powder up – 13:05
Form up – 13:15
Parade to Powick Bridge – 13:20
Arrive at Powick Bridge – 13:30/13:35
A welcome by Richard Shaw, Chairman of the Society and a short explanation as to why we are at Powick Bridge.
There will be a short prayer, musket fire, minute silence, musket fire again.
The Chairman will thank everyone for attending and invite attendees to join parade back to Maple Leaf pub where there will be a presentation from Anthony Rich, Battlefield Trust accredited battlefield guide and free refreshments.
