A city is preparing to mark the anniversary of a battle which changed the course of British history forever and helped sow the seeds of democracy worldwide.
Worcester will commemorate the 375th anniversary of the Battle of Worcester, the final and decisive conflict of the English Civil War, with events running from September 3 to 5.
The programme has been organised by The Battle of Worcester Society and will include a Drumhead Parade and Remembrance Service, a historical march, and a formal anniversary dinner.
