Hot on the heels (well almost) of a very interesting talk by the extremely knowledgeable Gregg Archer on the Battle of Ripple, I am pleased to say that Max Keen is giving our next talk on Tuesday 27th February, 2024 beginning at 7.15 p.m. at The Hive, Sawmill Close, The Butts, Worcester, WR1 3PD. The evening usually comes to an end around 8.30 p.m.
Max is a retired teacher who is absolutely enthusiastic about history. I was very lucky to attend a talk he gave to the U3A History Group in Pershore last Autumn and he entertained me and informed me in equal measure. I want you to share that experience. In his talk Civil War in Worcestershire he covers different parts of the County which I found enlightening (he obviously also covers Worcester itself) and he certainly broadened my knowledge.
