The Living History Show in Worcester promises a captivating journey through time, set against the backdrop of the city’s finest heritage sites. Scheduled for February 17th and 18th, the event will unfold across six historic venues, featuring 200 reenactors animating 2,000 years of history. Organized by Worcester Re-enactors, the show aims to evolve into a larger history festival. Highlights include a 17th-century pike drill, Tudor dance and music, Napoleonic drills, archery displays, and insights into medicine through the ages.

Additionally, visitors can enjoy Tudor fine dining, crafts, and Victorian-era performances. The Guildhall will host displays of World War I and II equipment, while St. Helen’s Church will showcase local history societies and interest groups. Cathedral Square will feature 1940s military vehicles and infantry. With activities starting around 10:30 am each day, the Living History Show promises excitement, drama, and a deeper understanding of Worcester’s rich historical tapestry.
